Planning: Magazine Design

The design of the magazine was done in a similar way to the digipak, as this was the most beneficial way to get my ideas down. By drawing my ideas, it allows me to visually see what I am going to be doing instead of it all being in my mind and harder for me to explain to people that I am taking pictures of. 

Looking at the design, it is seen to be very brief as I didn't want to over complicate it, as this would then take more of my time away from creating the music video. The ideas that I have put down on the design is the use of the same location throughout. The reason I have decided to stay consistent with the location, is due to its significance to the story line and how it has stayed the same throughout. Another idea that I am going to be using for the magazine is the idea of the yellow ribbon in the hair. The reason that I have decided to use this is because it links the image to the title of the song that is being used in the music video. The main ideas for the images of the magazine is to link it to the type of video that I am creating because it allows a common theme to be met with the different types of texts that are going to be created. 

In more detail, the ideas that I have decided to focus on most is the center image of the back of the girl. The reason that this is the main focus is because it is like a common magazine with one person on the front, however it is able to promote the entire music video. The way in which the image is able to promote the entire video, as it is the type of image that is going to interest the target audience, to look more into the music video.
