Plannig: Digipak Designs

For the planning of my digipak, I decided to print out a template and use this to allow myself to do a rough drawing of the type of digipak that I am going to be creating. The digipak that I am going to be creating is going to be going along the idea of a yellow ribbon theme, which means that I am going to be including similar ideas on the digipak, that I am going to be using in the music video. The benefit from designing the digipak on paper, is the idea that I am able to visually see my ideas before having to take the images. This allows more of a plan to what I am creating, instead of just trying to figure it out on the spot.

Adding on to this, the digipak ideas, were also inspired from the music video ideas that I have and other digitalis's that I analysed in the research. The reason for using these to help come up with an idea is because I wanted to stay on a similar theme, but also add more of a modern twist to the digipak that I am going to be creating. The more modern ideas were gathered from existing products, as they fitted the style I am aiming for.

In more detail the idea that I am going for, is more of an autumn colour themed digipak, with the leaves on the tree for the image on the back, and an orange and yellow colour theme on the other parts. The reason for this is again to link the location into the digipak, as this is one of the most important parts of the music video.
