Research: Conventions of a Digipak

Front:

• Includes a large eye catching image
• The image used on the front usually links to either the songs on the album or the artist
• The song title and artist name is typically included on the front 

Back: 

• A list of the songs that have been included
• The album name or artist
• Extra information is included on the back
• Gives details about the other companies involved in the creation process
• Record Label 
• The back includes a bar code to allow people to purchase the album 

Inside: 

• Includes a CD 
• The CD is very basic but follows the colour theme of the album 
• The CD usually includes the album name
• the CD typically includes a block colour background and the necessary information, rather than an image. This is due to it not being seen as it will be in the CD player and that this is not used as a way of advertising. 
• Booklet: 
• Includes images throughout the creation of the album
• Includes song lyrics 
• Includes extra information about the album and the artist 

Side: 

• Album Name
• Record Label 
• Artist Name or Logo 

All Together: 

• The album as a whole usually follows a specific colour theme
