I decided to create a storyboard because I thought that it would mean that I was able to have more of a plan on the type of shots that I am wanting to include in my music video, as well as being able to see where I am going to be placing the titles. Making a storyboard is benefical to the planning process as it means that when I am going to be doing the filming, I will have a rough plan of what I am wanting to do, rather than just going from what is in my brain. If I was to go without a plan, it is more likely that I am going to forget a shot that I am going to be needing or the filming process will become more stressful as I wont know what I want to include.
The storyboard that I have created is very brief, which gives me room to change any ideas or add any possible ideas that I come up with when filming. Adding on to this, the storyboard also includes notes of extra shots that I am going to take, and add to the video if their is space to and to ensure that all the song is covered with clips, instead of having to drag out the performer singing at each time.
