Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a year 13 student studying A-level media at George Spencer Academy Sixth Form, who would be very grateful for your permission to create a music video to 'Tie a yellow ribbon round the ole oak tree' by Tony Orlando and Dawn as I am aware that you have the legal rights to this song. I would like to confirm that that the music video I will be creating is going to be contributing to my final A-level grade and will not be used for commercial purposes, however it will be used for academic purposes as this is something that has been required by syllabus .
I hope that you approve of my use of this song for my music video
